Lots of new LOs

I've got lots of LOs to share with everyone. I've been working with several new kits and just having a blast scrapping the photos that I have.
Karla Marano has a new kit out just in time for Valentine's Day. It's called Cupid's Crush. And these LOs are ones that I turned into Quickpages for her. This kit is soooo awesome. It's gorgeous and the elements are amazing.
This first LO is a photo of my grandparents at their 50th Wedding Anniversary Party in 2002. This is a LO using a black and white photo of Granny and Grandaddy from the 1940s. I actually used an ad inspiration that Candy Posted at Make It Scrappy. I turned the ad into a template and then created this LO. Hannah helped me color Granny's dress. She chose the color and helped me with the delete key. We had a good time working together.
And finally, this LO I created using the photo I have of me giving Cayden a kiss before they swept him away to the Nursery to be put on oxygen.
Here's what my journaling says: From the moment I learned I was pregnant, I've loved you. Hearing your heartbeat for the first time made it seem more real. Seeing your face on the ultrasound screen was amazing. But nothing can describe the feelings inside me when I held you in my arms for the very first time.

Okay. This next LO is one I created using a quickpage by someone named Liz. I have no idea what kit is being used or even where I got the QP. All that was in the folder said, QPbyLiz. So if anyone knows who Liz is or the name of the kit, please let me know. It's just gorgeous and I want to give credit where credit is due. The photo I've used is one of Hannah in February 2006. This photo was taken before we headed off to a friend's wedding. What a cutie pie she was (and still in, in my opinion).

These next LOs I created for the Brag Challenge at N4D. These were fun to create. I used Debbie McKenzie's Timeless Kit for all 4 LOs.

Rated "E"

Just realized I never explained the "E" rating. One of my great CT gals has given my blog a rating of "E" for Excellent. Of course, I'm sitting here in disbelief because I just do not think a blog about my random life and scrapping could get an excellent rating, but hey - if she thinks so. . .LOL
So, now I'm going to return the favor. Of course, I'm only going to choose 5 of the blogs I visit almost daily. I know, to narrow it down to five is insane, but I just need to limit myself.
1. Amanda - Cannot leave out my CT girls! Amanda is a great enabler and I truly believe she's who helps get my stuff sold!! :)
2. Steph - Not just a fellow digi-scrapper but my sister-in-law to boot. She's an amazing scrapper who has learned so much over the past few months. Her LOs are starting to blow mine clear out of the water. LOL
3. KJ - Talk about someone who catches on quickly. She's already creating her own stuff! And it's all gorgeous!!
4. SeAScrApS - Just one of my all time favorite designers!!! And I get to DA for her which makes it all the better. I love her blog. . . she's got lots going on.
5. Tracy Drane - This is one lady I can't get enough of. . . I love her stuff!!!

Okay that's about it. . .who do you rate?
So I'm busy updating my blog. I want to be sure that my CT Members know how much I love them. CT Appreciation Week is quickly approaching, but I want them to know that I love all they do for me. I'm fairly certain that without their enabling, I would not be doing as well as a designer as I am.

I have a couple of LOs I want to show off that my CT did for me.

LOs from Kari:
These first two LO were creating using my latest kit, Glitzy Girlfriends. I love the LO with the little feet. So cute!!!!
And this LO was created using my Bright and Bold Color Collection Kit. The kit is so simple and yet she made it work beautifully with this photo!!

Next LOs are from Amanda:

These two were created using my About a Boy Kit. I'm sure they were supposed to be for the Brag Challenge at SZ but since SZ is no more, I don't know what's going to happen with the pages that everyone created.

Ch-ch-changes

Well, I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. Today has been an absolutely gorgeous day.

After a long week of horrible, wet and freezing weather, we had a beautiful day with highs in the 60s. I was able to open up our stuffy house and enjoy the sunshine and cool breeze.
And not only that, my mother-in-law came and took my two children to play with one of their cousins, my husband went over to his folks house to help with the floors, and I had the majority of this beautiful day all by myself. I cleaned and vacuumed the living room. I cleaned and vacuumed the playroom. I cleaned, swept, and mopped the kitchen and dining rooms. And I was able to get some scrapping and designing done. I'm working on a new collaboration kit for KJOI. I'm also working a brag book using my 30th birthday photos for the Brag Challenge at N4D. And I'm also just scrapping and trying to meet all my CT requirements. Regardless, I'm having a blast!

Here are a couple of my latest LOs.

This LO was created with Whimsical Spring by CanDesigns.
The photos are of my sweet Hannah and her good friend Stephen at Easter 2006.

This next LO was also created with a kit by Candee. This time I used Letters from Grandma. The template is by me. I might post it as a freebie if you're nice to me. LOL :)

And I've really been missing Granny and Grandaddy this week. I shed a few tears so I thought I'd scrap a LO that made me smile. The next two LOs I created using the Caroline B.'s Once Upon a Time who designers at N4D. This kit is so much fun to work with I just had a blast working with it. Of course, when you have a daughter who has focused on princesses for the past two years, creating LOs that involve castles and pumpkins, fairies and princesses isn't very hard at all.

This first LO is one of my oldest and dearest friend's little girl.

Template is from Kellie Puddy's Baseboards Pack #3

This next LO is of my daughter at her 3rd Birthday Party. We had it at Toys R Us and part of the party was a Princess Parade through the store. It was so much fun. She had a blast!
Template is from Templates-N-More by Trish H.

And finally, this last LO was created using Created with Cuddly Creatures by Lliella Designs. The template is by me.

The beautiful little baby in these photos is our cousin's first child, Lexi, who is now 2.

And now, about those changes. I am no longer selling at Scrapper's Zone. In fact, for the time being, Scrapper's Zone is no more. I do not know anything more than I am sharing here. There was some sort of something and now the site is gone. I do not know what the future holds for that site. I am very thankful that I was able to sell there while I had the opportunity. I hope to see you at my other stores.

Siblings and Sleep,

Click on LOs for full credits.
This LO was created for the Template Challenge at Color Line Design.
Journaling Reads: Looking back at these pictures, it is easy to see how much you adore your “Baby Boy!” You always wanted to hold him in your lap and cuddle up with him in your arms. We did not go through a jealous phase with you. You were always willing to help mommy when she needed you to get Cayden a new diaper and loved helping Daddy give him a bath. You didn’t even get upset when Mommy couldn’t play because she had to nurse your brother. You would just climb up in the recliner with us and snuggle up next to him while he nursed. You were a great big sister in those first days. And now that Cayden is almost two years old, you still love to snuggle with him in the recliner. Of course, there are times when you’d rather play by yourself, but you always find something for Cayden to do, too.

This LO was created for the Sketch Challenge at Scrappin' Freestyle Journaling is a lullaby I sing to him: Sleep little one, go to sleep, So peaceful the birds and the sheep. Quiet the meadow and trees. Even the buzz of the bees. The silvery moonbeams so bright, Down through the window give light, Over you the moonbeams will creep. Sleep little one, go to sleep.

More LOs

I've taken a bit of a break from my designing right now. I have to get a collaboration kit done by next weekend, but it's a book of QuickPages so I'm not stretching myself too thin. I wanted to scrap some early photos of Cayden since I am lacking in that area of my scrapbooking. And I got my two Quick Page Participation Prizes for this week's coming Chat with SeAScrApS.

This week's featured kit is Sisters and it's GORGEOUS!! I have loved working with this kit!! Grab it now if you'd like, but remember that it will be marked down 50% on Wednesday because it's the featured kit for this week's chat!

Here are my two QPs being used for LOs!

Journaling reads: Crystal and I have been friends for 16 years. We met in Summer Band our Freshmen year of High School and have been friends ever since. We havegone through our ups and downs, but in the end,I know that I can always turn to her when I need a shoulder to cry on or want to celebrate ajoy with her. We both have changed a lot overthe years, but one thing has remained the same, our friendship is rock solid. We are as closeas sisters can be. Here’s to another 16 yearsof friendship. January 2008

And now for my C-man LOs

All were created with Baby's First Templates by DigiTreats.

This LO was created using My Bundle of Boy by SeAScrApS.

This LO was created using All Boy, which is now retired, by SeAScrApS

And this LO was created using Bug-A-Boo (recolored for a boy) by Traci Thompson.

Scrappin' Frenzy

I've definitely been making time to actually scrap my photos. Of course, I've started digging back into the year 2006 instead of the more recent stuff. I just can't get motivated to scrap my recent photos. Maybe it's because since having Cayden in 2006, I have not been able to shake the baby weight I gained and am in fact weigh more now than I ever have. I'm pretty bummed about that and seeing recent photos of me is depressing. But that's all changing. One of my best friends and I went to an actual Weight Watchers meeting today. And it was a wake up call for the both of us. Of course, the meeting was soooo dull, we're going to try a new one tomorrow. We've got to find our fit and the 10 am meeting on Thursday is the "little old lady club." Not our style.

So, here I am digging back at photos. Not that I haven't scrapped recent photos as well, I've just been busy doing many different things.

Here's one I call, Birds of a Feather. It's a LO of my two children and their cousin, Lexi, who is a couple months older than Cayden. We got their picture made together because of their cute little outfits. When Hannah realized what we were doing, she said, "But I have one of those outfits," so she ended up in one of the pictures. I think they are pretty adorable.

LO created with Cuddly Creatures by Lliella Designs.

Another recent LO I've created is a 2 page spread of my daughter and her two best friends at their Christmas Party.

Both LOs were created with Christmas Wishes by Chris Young of Heavenly Scraps. I cannot remember where the 1st template came from by the 2nd LO was created using the DSS Template for their November Challenge.

This is a LO of Hannah's cousin, Brandi. The photo is from August 2007. This little girl is one sweetie. And she's soooo beautiful. I had to scrap this photo that Uncle Kenny took of her.

Created with a a Sherbet Treat QP by Alma Townsend.

Here's a LO I created for the All About Me requirement at N4D. All CT and Guest CT Members are required to create a LO that tells about them. I love how this turned out.

Created with Funky Girl by Doreen Stolz.

And finally, my two favorite recent LOs I've made. This a two page spread of photos taken from last Valentine's Day. The first one is of my sister's godson, Cade. Isn't he a cutie!!! And the 2nd LO is of my children and me!

Both LOs were created with templates by Heidi at Elemental Scraps. And the kit used is King of Hearts by Sherri Tierney (one of my FAVORITE designers).

And so I've decided to go ahead and pass it on to a few who geniuinely make my day without even realizing it:

1. KJ - She's been in my life for years. She's a sweetie and beautiful on the inside-out. I've known her nearly 20 years, I do believe!!

2. D - I believe she visits my blog nearly every day and leaves me the sweetest comments. It means a lot to me to have someone out there reading my random musings!

3. Steph - We met online through Mommy Matching. We met in person at a park. I have pictures of our kiddos before they were 1. We lost touch and were reconnected through the digiscrappin' world. What a small one it is! Always sweet and encouraging. Gives great cyber - hugs.

4. Karla - One of the ladies I CT for. . . I love that she hasn't given up on me!!! And that she loves my designs as well!!
